What Color will Fawn be?

Fawn is 1 1/2 months old. She may be changing color, and if so, the change may be drastic!

Her eyes and muzzle are turning dark.

 Her body color is still lighter than the red dun color of her dam, Goldie.

 Look carefully, and see the dark undercoat and hairs all over her body.

Her ears are dark tipped,

 and with the dorsal stripe, is she going to be grulla?

Dove is going to stay a bay,  a deep red bay, just as sorrel coated as her dam, Starlet.

I just love this pose. Fawn is watching something intensely, and Dove could care less.

Let me know what color you think Fawn is going to change in to!

Dove just puts her head down and walks on and off.

Fawn is turnig into a pretty foal.

I just love seeing the mares and babies grazing among the trees.

Finally... here she is.  Goldie was only 4 days late, but it felt like we were waiting for this little girl forever!  Goldie was huge, with an udder like a cow's.  Yesterday, Friday, we woke up to this picture:



 with a large star, light buckskin coat, and dorsal stripe,

 Starlet's Dove didn't know what to make of this little one!

even though this photo is a little blurry, I just loved the front leg movement of mom and baby

 Her actual coat coloring is very light

 I just love her eyes!

I'm thinking of calling her Doe, or Fawn, or something like that.  Ideas?
