Horses Are Our Lives

Horses are our lives. They are in our blood. They are a part of our heart and soul and backbone. It doesn't matter if we own a horse or not, or even if we ride or not, because what matters is that we have a love for horses. All horses, no matter size, breed, gender, temperament ...well maybe temperament! I have a love for horses and I want to share what I know and what I feel with you. I am on a search for what horses mean to me. I hope you come along on the ride with me!

Sunday Still's 'BEST OF 2009"

This week's Sunday Still's Photo Challenge is the "BEST OF 2009". I have more posted on my other blog, Pictures by Brenda, but here are some of my "horsey" bests. It was very hard to decide between "best" and "favorite", so I did both!

What I would consider some of my best horse related shots:

Sun finally rising, after many weeks of snow,

Horses at the round bale feeder,

Shaggy and Starlet,

Headshots of Finny as I ride him in the field,

Riding in the fields, and around the trees,

Finny, in the fog of a Colorado morning,

Rainbow over the Colorado mountain,

The snow is coming,

and covered the horses,

and even though I didn't take this picture, I love this head shot of Finny,

and even though I didn't take this shot, this is a favorite picture of mine of Finny,
